A basic design of W2E was tailored for the by-pass channels at the Kalloo locks of Port of Antwerp.
The basic design of Water2Energy was tailored for PoA during a cooperation with De Meijer and Water2Energy. Extensive testing of the turbine unveiled a performance in restricted water flows, such as these by-pass channels, that was far beyond expectations for open water applications.
